So July is (unfortunately) coming to an end, and it’s time to do an end-of-the-month favorites post. This month has been very laid-back and I’ve been wearing minimal everything. (Makeup, jewelry, and yes, even clothes.) All of my favorites this month are pretty simple, everyday kind of things that I’ve really been enjoying! So here’s the break down:
Brighton Studs: I’ve wanted a pair of diamond studs for a while. My last pair were from F21 and got kind of beaten-up after a while. I had to take my senior pictures this month and I really wanted some simple jewelry, so I figured it was the perfect time to buy a pair of diamond studs. I’m so glad I decided to get these. I’ve been wearing them literally everyday. They’re such a versatile item because there isn’t one thing they don’t match. They even have cute heart details on the side! I bought these at a Brighton store for $36.00.

Evil Eye Friendship Bracelet/Anklet: I’m not quite sure why, but spiritual symbols have been quite the rage lately. I’m not complaining, I like to think of myself as quite spiritual. I’ve been seeing evil eyes, hamsas, crosses, and buddha heads everywhere! So I was quite happy when I got this. My friends went on a cruise a few weeks ago and brought this back for me! We’ve all been wearing these as anklets this month and they’re just so cute! I wish I could tell you where this is from, but I think it was from some random gift shop or shack on an island. It shouldn’t be hard to find!
Victoria’s Secret Love is Heavenly Perfume: I think I’ve found my favorite perfume. When I first smelled this perfume, I thought it was, well, heavenly. The Victoria’s Secret website describes the scent as “A romantic blend of water lily, mandarin flower, and luminous musk. I’ve been wearing this everyday. Love it!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Amused: This is the first Tarte Amazonian Clay blush that I’ve tried and I must say, I’m very impressed. This blush really does stay on longer than average and the texture is very smooth. This color is the perfect bright pink. It looks very natural and you only need a tiny bit! I’ve been wearing this with mascara and bronzer for a super natural, fresh look.
Tarte Matte Waterproof Park Ave Princess Bronzer: This is my favorite bronzer ever. (And not just because of the name!) I’ve had this bronzer for a while, but since we’re in summer, I’ve been breaking it out quite often. It’s so natural because it has a matte finish and no trace of orange. It has the same idea as the Benefit Hoola bronzer. I can’t compare it though, because I’ve never tried Benefit’s Hoola bronzer. The Tarte bronzer seems to last me all day and the color is perfect. Not orange and not muddy.
Lancome Hypnose Mascara: Last but certainly not least for makeup products (I had a lot this month) is my newfound favorite mascara. This mascara is so black and really gives length and volume to my lashes. It’s just a tad clumpy, but that’s what really gives the lashes volume. I’ve tried my fair share of mascaras, but this one takes the lead so far.
For a sweet treat, I’ve been obsessed over this Chocolove Orange Peel in Dark Chocolate. It’s to die for! The dark chocolate is just so smooth and the orange peels give the chocolate a little crunch. I think even those of you who dislike dark chocolate would enjoy this. I can’t say enough about it. An extra plus: Dark chocolate is loaded with antioxidants and helps lower blood pressure when eaten in moderation! (A lot healthier than milk chocolate.) So I assure you, indulging in this is so worth it. I got mine at Whole Foods!
So that’s it for my July Favorites! I hope everyone had a great month and here’s to a wonderful August! This should be a very interesting/busy month for me, but I’ll keep you posted!
